A new report from a left-leaning think tank suggests the state should return land — including Acadia National Park, Baxter State Park, and Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument — to the Wabanaki Nations. 
 
 Maine Dems - A Super PAC backing Susan Collins accepted $2 million from a Wall Street exec right before she voted to greenlight cuts to Medicaid in our state and extend tax cuts for the ultra-rich. She raked in major campaign donations from insurance companies planning to raise health care premiums. She said she and Congress will only consider taking action against this if they see "evidence" of Americans getting sicker .
She voted to confirm anti-choice judges and extremist members of Trump's cabinet, like RFK Jr. and Russ Vought (the architect of Project 2025!), who pose explicit threats to the safety and freedom of Mainers.
She voted against releasing the Epstein files to protect Donald Trump and his rich and powerful allies, and she's increased her own campaign spending on lavish hotels and fine dining. Her priorities couldn't be further from ours.
