Lawmakers OK additional $3M for reproductive health care

Press Herald - One of the Gulf of Maine’s most prized resources, bluefin tuna is coveted by chefs and savvy home cooks for its superior flavor, high fat content and culinary versatility. Since it’s the most prized of the tuna species, bluefin is more expensive than yellowfin or bigeye. Bluefin loin sells for between about $25 to $40 a pound at area fish markets, while the coveted fatty belly pieces, or toro, can fetch at least $50 a pound.
