Midcoast Now - Freeport has given approval to a new condo development near the heart of downtown. The one- and two-bedroom units will range from 486 to 524 square feet. Approximately 34 of the condo units will be geared toward workforce housing, priced around $300,000, while the 11 two-bedroom units on the top floor will cost around $450,000. The developer hopes to break ground in April, with a target completion date of summer 2027.
