Recycling Compactor Open To Residents 7AM-4PM Wed-Sat
Freeport residents still have access to the silver bullet container on West Street, but the best recycling method is at the Transfer Station compactor. While station hours are more limited than the 24/7 access to the silver bullet, the environmental and financial efficiency of the single sort compactor process cannot be topped. It's open early, too: 7:00AM Wed-Sat, and closing at 4:00PM.
