Snowy Owls Take the Runway

One of the films of this year’s Film Fest for Casco Bay is The Snowy Owls of Logan Airport. For more than four decades, Norman Smith—known as the “Owl Man of Logan Airport”—has worked to protect snowy owls and keep planes safe by relocating these majestic Arctic visitors away from Boston’s busiest runways. His story is a reminder of the creative ways people and wildlife can coexist.

The Snowy Owls of Logan Airport is just one of the powerful films we’ll share on the big screen during Film Fest for Casco Bay.
