WFCP
will be going "On the Air" (really live on stage at FPAC) in early
December. The show is set in 1920s-1970s, the Golden Age of Radio.
Music and comedy of the era. New, original sketches every year!
Directors are Alicia Ouellette Belmore for sketches, and
Music Director Mitch Thomas for music.
Auditions for sketch roles and for music, and
sound effects creators.
Auditions will be at Freeport High School music rooms, 30
Holbrook St. (Chorus and Band Rooms--use back door opposite parking lot)
on:
Sunday, October 12 at 6 pm
Wednesday, October 15 at 6 pm
*Actors will be asked to read sides from the sketches, in groups along with other actors.
*Sound effects creators will be asked to make noises with our items as
the sketches are performed. (You can bring noise-makers, also.)
*Singers,
please bring sheet music for a song of your choice, and Mitch will play
your music on the piano, or bring electronic back-up music if you
prefer. Also bring an instrument to play if you do that. It's great
to use a song set in the period of the show--1920s-1970s.
Performances are December 5, 6, and 7, and rehearsals happen in October
and November. Tickets to the show will be on sale in November.
If
you can't make it to an audition, but want to be in the show, or have
other questions, please contact Producer Judy Lloyd at
