 Town of Pownal  - Regional School Unit 5 ("RSU 5") is gathering community perspectives as part of our next five-year strategic plan, and we’d love your voice in the process. We are inviting you to help shape the future of our work through two opportunities: 

Focus Groups – We invite you to attend any of the five sessions below to share your voice:


  • Monday, September 22, 2025 6:00 p.m. — Pownal Elementary School
  • Thursday, September 25, 2025 6:00 p.m. — Durham Community School
  • Saturday, September 27, 2025 10:00 a.m. — Freeport Community Library
  • Tuesday, September 30, 2025 6:00 p.m. — Freeport High School
  • Wednesday, October 1, 2025 12:00 p.m. — Virtual Session (join during your lunch break!)
