Our 'Growing Freeport Together' series highlights
local organizations and entrepreneurs that have collaborated with the
Town to build a more robust future for our community.
This month's featured story is about Freeport Housing Trust,
a community-based charitable organization whose mission is to provide
safe, decent and affordable housing opportunities to the lower and
moderate-income households of Freeport. Executive Director Matt Peters
shares the Housing Trust's story, along with input from Town of Freeport
Councilor-At-Large and Senior Program Officer for Strategic Initiatives
at the non-profit Genesis Fund.
