Baby Girl Abandoned in Cardboard Box

A newborn baby girl was rescued after being abandoned on the roadside in the Philippines.

 People

  • Police in the Philippines are investigating after a newborn baby was discovered abandoned on the side of the road on Sept. 24
  • The infant, a newborn baby girl, was left in a cardboard box and was discovered by a passing grandmother who alerted authorities
  • "Every life is precious, and the PNP will not stop until the person who abandoned this baby is identified," a local police chief said in a press release
