 Apprenticeship: Growing Graziers


Regional food systems will never be sustainable if we don't invest in farmer training. This 9-month, hybrid program introduces new farmers to managed dairy grazing in the Northeast with a supportive cohort model that creates an industry network from day one. Fundamental topics include markets, grazing principles, tractor safety, animal handling skills, business planning and financials. Facilitated by Wolfe’s Neck Center, Pasa Sustainable Agriculture, Cornell and the University of Vermont.
