Gov. Mills won’t sign bill to limit police collaboration with immigration authorities

The number of fireworks stores in Maine has declined from a peak of 27 in 2018 to approximately 12 in 2024.  Fireworks retail sales peaked at $8.1 million during the pandemic in 2021 but dropped to $6.2 million in 2023.
