June 10th Election and Counter Service We are delighted to announce that, with the hiring of an additional Deputy Clerk, we will be able to keep the counter service window open during the upcoming election on June 10th. In the past, the Town Office has had to close window service during elections due to conflicts in staffing requirements. This coming June 10th transactions at the window will be limited to Real Estate Tax payments, however we anticipate that, as our new staff gains more experience with the many functions of window service, we will be able to offer the full range of Town Office activities and transactions every voting day. The Code Enforcement Office will also be open. If residents need to meet with the CEO, it is best to call in advance and schedule an appointment. The position of CEO requires frequent field work and the 10th will not be an exception. |
