Maine the second safest state in US

 WOKQ -   According to a US News article, the safest state in America is New Hampshire.  The 603 has an average violent crime rate of 107 per 100,000 people. The property crime rate was 889 per 100,000 people.

Maine followed New Hampshire in second place.

Maine had a lower violent crime rate (102 per 100,000); however, Maine had a higher property crime rate (1,121 per 100,000).
